I cannot express the depth or feeling which moves in me when I listen to this particular album... not sure why or when I decided this but its been so for nearly 20 years as best as I can recollect... its nothing to do with his work with U2 or Roxy Music but possibly something to do with his work or the work associated with Bowie on Low... love it
where it all started...
listen to your hearts content!
This is for you... and me
I have choreography to this one from 1984... eek
there's more

He is one of my longtime muses.... the song is called Third Uncle
His music has become more ambient and his message more simple
Its possible that he is evolving beyond narrative as we might hear from older work...
It is on the Taking Tiger Mountain Album... drink it in...
There are tins There was pork There are legs There are sharks There was John There are cliffs There was mother There's a poker There was you Then there was you.
There are scenes There are blues There are boots There are shoes There are Turks There are fools They're in lockers They're in schools There in you Then there was you.
Burn my fingers Burn my toes Burn my uncle Burn his books Burn his shoes Cook the leather Put it on me Does it fit me Or you? It looks tight on you.
This just feels like some of his best music to me....
Those who know They don't let it show They just give you one long life And you go, oh oh, oh oh
Goes to show How winds blow The weather's fine And I feel so so-so, so
Birds of prey With too much to say Oh what could be my destiny Another rainy day
Why ask why? For by the by and by All mysteries are just more Needles in the camel's eye
Those who know They don't let it show They just give you one long life And you go, oh oh, oh oh
Why ask why? For by the by and by All mysteries are just more Needles in the camel's eye
You cant miss with 'Here Come the Warm Jets' Release from the Early Eno
