Hey folks... Please use this thread for general chit chat amongst yourselves and subjects which discuss shows/events as a general concept to experiment with as community... Maybe we can come up with our own special events that are like no others
I would like to keep other threads grouped on this particular board according to stylistic tastes and cultural discussions of mutual appreciation.... if you have a particular review of a specific stylistic taste then please post in that subject thread but if you are generally talking about how many or the different types of stuff you got into at a certain point in time then this is your thread...
Eclectics rejoice!!!

I just recently saw a show with the Evens from Dischord fame and am glad to say that none of the sound value or intellegence which we have come to expect from these folk has been lost in this recent production... seems at present they are into a more controlled auditory experience which takes into account the acoustics and interactive qualities of audience
its still worth the five bones that youll drop at the door and i am sure that the vinyl and cd are of the same quality even if its clear that the spontaneity is still feeling a bit timorous within the community of pragmatic believers having a unique experience
i found the compositions to be similar to fugazi sounds while still being unpredictable... i really cant speak to the corrrelations between the warmers compositions and style

Went to one of those ' thirty years on' type nights the other week. I wanted to see the Rezillos and the d**ned, who were both great. The big surprise was 'The Beat' (on the same bill as bands like G.B.H?) who played a blinder and went down really well with the crowd. Made me wanna dig out the old two-tone records and have a wee dance around the room.
This is what we need different styles, different lyrics, different attitutes..on the same bill. The next time I go to a punk gig there had better be a south american pan-pipe group doing country n western covers of heavy metal or i'll be dissapointed.

maybe you can just start by showing that movie 'Aguire' in the back ground while some death metal band rips it in kilts...
lots of options there and i fully agree that diversity says alot more while drawing 3 times the numbers of squares to the circle

This club is being sold...
This video is a fan tribute to River Phoenix who passed before his time while attending a concert by Depp at the Viper. My hope is that we have provided the information that each of you might need here in these videos. Thank you to all involved in the primary and secondary sources of media and production.
